Join us for training sessions, workshops, live demos, and networking with Alexa experts and your peers.

Prerequisites

 

Beginner Course Level

The day features an intro to Alexa and an in-depth training course on building skills with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK), a collection of self-service APIs, tools, documentation and code samples that make it fast and easy for you to add skills to Alexa. We'll also dive deeper into building voice user interfaces and publishing your skill in a bootcamp setting.

This course assumes that you have basic familiarity with both coding concepts and voice design. In lieu of experience, you can complete the following prerequisites:

 

1- Build and submit an Alexa skill using on of our skill tutorials.

 

2- Read through our Alexa Voice Design Guide.

Advanced Course Prerequisites

Coding

You will need basic familiarity with coding concepts. Learn on your own by using our Alexa skill tutorials to build and submit a skill.

Andrea is a Technical Evangelist for Amazon Alexa. In this role, he is travelling the world to share stories, learnings and best practices for building voice-enabled experiences, aka Skills, with Alexa. Before that he worked on both sides of software development as a full stack developer and as a product manager.
